Kölnkiosk
If you have ever visited Cologne, you most probably know what the German word “Kiosk” means. And how the Kiosk beer and coffee became one of the many nice cultural highlights of this town. The KölnKiosk, located on Brüsseler Strasse 39-41, embodies this city culture. Small, cute with its own charm, and mostly full of what makes this town: people of all ethnicity, age, style, believe and type.
The aromatic unique smells of freshly brewed coffee, the cakes taste delicious, and the beautiful mixture of people create the authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The specialty of this place is that, during the day it becomes sort of a mini restaurant, where you can try homemade baguettes, salads with fresh veggies for a small hunger and cashew pasta with ricotta for the big one. When the sun goes down, the B side of KölnKiosk turns into the hot spot for the young locals, who share both after-work cold beer and nice (or aggravating) memories of the day and laugh. ORILABO goes for there for both the after-work cold beer, as well as the little treats during the day. And most importantly: for pleasant talks with lovely people. What is your choice? :)

Caveedel
What are your first thoughts when you hear the words “cake and coffee”?
Hm… ORILABO’s first thought is Caveedel. When you decide to spend your afternoon break (we just invented that type of break…) walking around Brüsseler Platz in Cologne, then you just cannot and must not miss the Cavedeel Café. And we mean it. This amazing cake vitrine, the vintage interior with and old French-Cologne touch, fresh flowers and the famous locally roasted Schamong coffee. It could not be more perfect. When the weather is good, you can just sip your delicious coffee, read a book, and enjoy the atmosphere on the terrasse. ORILABO loves blueberry cheesecake there and we recommend taking it when you see the last slice there. So, if you look for some peaceful, cozy time all by yourself or with friends and family, we think, you just found the place.
