It smells like…. summer. Of course, the last weeks, the rainy tendence took the lead, but it is June outside and it means, couple of sunny, active days are awaiting us ahead. But the question is: “What should we do on these days to make them brighter and more excited, especially in Cologne city?”
We at Orilabo Project picked the most favorite activities in the town, divided it in several categories and created the Summer Bucket list with some tips.
ORILABO SUMMER BUCKET LIST
Open Air
1. Visit an amazing Open Air Sion Summer cinema in Cologne´s Rheinauhafen and enjoy not only the nice movie or documentary, but also a beautiful pink sky on warm summer evening.

2. Have fun and dance at the Pollerwiesen Open Air Festival, which takes place on 25th of June 2022. Make sure that you have your tickets.

3. Teach or learn some moves at the Open Air Salsa on the rooftoop of the Chocolate Museum, every Sunday. Do not miss it!

4. Try the most delicious ice-cream at stylish and cute Kiosk Schmitz on the Dürener Street. Pistaccio and salted caramel...hm...you never go wrong with it!

5. Drink a cold Kölsch in the Biergarten on Rathenauplatz and to feel the French vibe in the evening.

6. Have an authentic refreshing cocktail on the rooftoop at Monkey Bar and be amazed by the view. And then order "LET´S GET FINNISH" - and we mean the cocktail here:)

7. Visit Tapeo & Co., where you can try the original spanish tapas and wait for it…. cold and perfect classy Sangria.... plus they have the coziest terrasse with cute lights that create THAT vibe.

8. Drive a pedal boat at Kalscheurer Weiher.

9. Visit Lindenthaler Animal park with kids, to feel the wild nature and to watch different animals in the middle of the city. Sound like an experience!

10. Have a family picknick in Volksgarten. Take some board games, Frisbee and good mood.

14. Enjoy the Kölner Dom in the sun lights from SonnenscheinEtage in the middle of the city. This place is recognised as the highest beach in the city. Secret Tip: The DJ pops up there too.
